Abstract
En la actualidad la mayoría de los niños cursan su pre-escolaridad y escolaridad con una pedagogía tradicional, centrada en contenidos conceptuales y procedimentales más que actitudinales y habilidades sociales.
El interés por el presenten trabajo de investigación está centrado en buscar una estrategia que apoye las habilidades sociales mediante la actuación teatral con títeres, desde la perspectiva del arte, enfatizando en los contenidos actitudinales para promover el desarrollo personal y social de un verdadero autoconcepto; es por ello que la problemática se enmarcó en la siguiente pregunta de investigación: “¿El programa de actuación teatral con títeres favorece significativamente el desarrollo de las habilidades sociales?”
Currently, most children attend pre-school and school with a traditional pedagogy, rather, focused on conceptual and procedural content, rather than attitudinal and social skills. In accordance with the above, the interest of this research focused on finding a strategy that supports social skills through the theatrical action with puppets from the perspective of art, from the attitudinal rather than conceptual and procedural contents in favor of the social development of a good self-concept, that is why the problem is framed in the following research question: "does the theatrical acting program with puppets significantly enhance the development of social skills?"
