In the following research, a dystopia is presented through a pictorial proposal, based on different peculiar actions hidden in plain sight within the traditions and customs of the patron saint festivals in Cusco, also called "Corpus," such as the Corpus of San Cristóbal in the Qolqanpata neighborhood of Cusco, Peru. Observation is used as a research method for describing the scenario through the aesthetic representation of allegories and introspection for interpreting their meanings. The works are analyzed from semiology, aesthetics and summarized in a critical discourse that describes and interprets each aesthetic piece. The entire set of works is also analyzed through the description and interpretation of semiotic paradigms or categorizations, as well as the relationship between categories that converse with the viewer and help understand the message of the work. The images are segmented into transparent acrylic planes that individually mean nothing, but when joined one after the other, they show an artistic paintingwith meaning for the artist and viewer. The concept of this procedure is to demonstrate that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts; thus, each painting in this series is connected to the others to give an idea of the dystopian world presented. As an artistic vision that alleges fictional images with contemporary – dreamlike genre, it should not be confused with reality or allude to it since the paintings exaggerate certain social contexts present in specific groups of people. With this clarification, the artistic paintings are neither a social critique nor an intention to offend the traditions and customs of Cusco.
