Abstract
La investigación presentada tiene como objetivo principal el diagnóstico estructural buscando la procedencia de la utilización del ichhu como parte del soporte estructural que presenta la obra, haciendo los respectivos análisis para su integración dentro de los procesos técnicos restaurativos. Basados en los principios fundamentales de la restauración y convenios internacionales, sin alterar la historicidad que estas permiten su diagnóstico e intervención en la escultura policromada, que tiene por título Santa Clara de Asís. Se encaminó la investigación con el método descriptivo que permite conocer sus características particulares, en el soporte estructural, en la decoración artística y material del bien cultural, prosiguiendo las propias características del método inductivo. La finalidad de la investigación es identificar y analizar la estructura constructiva aplicadas a la escultura policromada Santa Clara de Asís, donde se determina sus características mediante un extenso análisis histórico documentando de diferentes esculturas policromada que se alberga dentro del convento y en la ciudad del Cusco, no obstante también se hace investigación en diferentes ciudades buscando referencia de la construcción estructural de las esculturas policromadas realizadas durante los siglos XVII Y XVIII, llegando a la conclusión que tuvo por resultado su reconocimiento y análisis, única dentro del recinto de la técnica constructiva de la escultura policromada Santa Clara de Asís que se alberga dentro del convento san Francisco de Asís del Cusco.
The main objective of the presented research is a structural diagnosis, seeking the origin of the use of ichu as part of the structural support of the work, performing the respective analyses for its integration into the technical restoration processes. Based on the fundamental principles of restoration and international conventions, without altering the historicity, these allow for diagnosis and intervention in the polychrome sculpture entitled Saint Clare of Assisi. The research was conducted using the descriptive method, which allows for understanding its particular characteristics in the structural support, artistic decoration, and material of the cultural asset, continuing the characteristics of the inductive method. The purpose of the research is to identify and analyze the constructive structure applied to the polychrome sculpture Santa Clara de Asís, where its characteristics are determined through an extensive historical analysis documenting different polychrome sculptures that are housed within the convent and in the city of Cusco, however research is also done in different cities looking for reference to the structural construction of polychrome sculptures made during the 17th and 18th centuries, reaching the conclusion that it resulted in its recognition and unique analysis within the grounds of the constructive technique of the polychrome sculpture Santa. Clara de Asís that is housed within the convent of San Francisco de Asís in Cusco.
