Abstract
In the research work entitled Implementation of forced ventilation system to optimize the environmental parameters of preventive conservation of the mural pictorial ensemble of the crypt of the presbytery sector of the Temple of San Francisco de Asís del Cusco, 2022, the objective was to determine if the implementation of the forced ventilation system generates significant differences between the pretest and posttest of the environmental parameters that optimize the preventive conservation of the mural pictorial ensemble. The research was developed from a quantitative approach, the design is pre-experimental, longitudinal, pre-test and post-test with a single group with multiple time series. The observation unit was unique, referred to the pictorial mural group of the crypt with a non-probabilistic sampling by convenience. The hypothesis test was performed by Wilcoxon signed-rank test. The results obtained show that the implementation of the forced ventilation system optimizes the environmental parameters of preventive conservation of the mural pictorial group, giving as a result in relative humidity and temperature, a significance of 0.000 less than 0.05, thus proving that differences between pretest and posttest are significant. It was concluded that the forced ventilation system is a gravitating system for the preventive conservation of the mural painting group of the crypt of the presbytery sector of the San Francisco de Asis temple in Cusco.
