Esta carencia se manifiesta tanto en el ámbito escolar como en su vida cotidiana. La investigación observa que estas actitudes suelen ser aprendidas y transmitidas por adultos significativos en la vida de los estudiantes, como padres y profesores. Para cambiar estas conductas, se determinó la necesidad de enseñar el diseño de carteles ambientales. Esta herramienta puede ser efectiva para fomentar la reflexión y la conciencia ambiental entre los estudiantes. Al investigar sobre el tema y crear sus propios carteles, los estudiantes pueden promover activamente el cuidado de su entorno. Como método de enseñanza, se utilizó el libro “Ilustración creadora” de Andrew Loomis. La investigación combinó la observación e introspección de los productos estéticos generados durante el proceso de aprendizaje de los estudiantes, realizando un análisis pedagógico de los hechos y procesos académicos. Se llevó a cabo un análisis semiótico y estético de los objetos producidos para decodificar e interpretar el mensaje, así como un análisis estético de estos productos. El propósito de la investigación fue concienciar a los estudiantes sobre el cuidado de su entorno ambiental mediante la expresión artística de carteles ambientalistas. Además, el trabajo del investigador contribuyó al desarrollo de la creatividad de los estudiantes.The research problem lies in the lack of ecological awareness among high school students regarding the care of their environmental surroundings. This lack of awareness is evident both in the school environment and in their daily lives. The research observes that these attitudes are often learned and transmitted by significant adults in the students’ lives, such as parents and teachers. To change these behaviors, it was determined that teaching the design of environmental posters is necessary. This tool can be effective in fostering reflection and environmental awareness among students. By researching the topic and creating their own posters, students can actively promote the care of their environment. As a teaching method, the book “Creative Illustration” by Andrew Loomis was used. The investigation combined observation and introspection of the aesthetic products generated during the students’ learning process, conducting a pedagogical analysis of the academic facts and processes. A semiotic and aesthetic analysis of the produced objects was carried out to decode and interpret the message, as well as an aesthetic analysis of these products. The purpose of the research was to raise students’ awareness about the care of their environmental surroundings through the artistic expression of environmental posters.
