Para ello se optó poranalizar los contenidos del área de Arte donde en el VII ciclo tiene como competencialo siguiente: aprecia críticamente el arte peruano y universal como expresión decreatividad y libertad del ser humano y como medio para construir y reafirmar suidentidad personal, social y cultural. Analizando podemos decir que el mural historiadel Qosqo, es parte del arte peruano y producto de la creatividad del artista cusqueñoJuan Bravo Vizcarra y que mejor obra para apreciar y reafirmar su identidad, finalmenteen el rubro de conocimientos expresa entre otros temas artistas plásticos nacionalescontemporáneos y el arte en los espacios públicos, pintura mural. Entonces observandoestos aspectos se realiza la incógnita ¿hasta qué punto conocen los alumnos sobre estemural y más sobre al autor? para poder medir el nivel de conocimiento recurrimos avarios psicopedagogos siendo uno de ellos el más sugerente Benjamín Bloom quienjerarquiza el conocimiento en seis niveles: conocimiento, comprensión, aplicación,análisis, síntesis y evaluación el cual aplicando las encuestas en base a estos niveles se obtuvo como resultado de que los alumnos solo alcanzas al segundo nivel que es el de Comprensión.The present thesis aims to main purpose is to describe the level of acquaintance with the mural painting ‘History of Qosqo’ of 2014 graduate students of the emblematic School of ‘Ciencias’ in Cusco. To accomplish this, we determined to analyze the contents of the area of Art, whose competences at the VII cycle are the following: critically appreciating Peruvian and universal art as an expression of creativity and freedom of the human being and to build and reaffirm his personal, social and cultural identity. Upon analyzing we can say that the mural painting ‘History of Qosqo’ is part of Peruvian art and a product of the creativity of Cusquenian artist Juan Bravo Vizcarra, and what a better art piece to appreciate and confirm his identity. Finally, in the matters of knowledge, naming, among other topics, national and contemporary plastic artists, art in public spaces, and mural paintings. Thus, on observing these aspects arises the question: In what extent do students know about this mural painting and what else about the author?
